ABOUT THE ARTISANS
Two days’ walk from any road lies the village of Sertung. This village was damaged during the April 2015 earthquakes. Their village was so heavily damaged, and women are uneducated but hardworking. This recycled bowl is made by women’s groups which helps these extraordinary women earn income and put their children through school.
